Buick debuted the new Regal 2.0-liter Turbo at the Shanghai Auto Show 2009, the first model built in China that will be offered with a turbocharged engine.
The 2.0-liter Turbo Direct Injection engine generates a maximum power of 220 hp (162 kW) at 5,300 rpm and 350 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm. Furthermore, it helps the car sprint from naught to 100 km/h in no less than 7.8 seconds, becoming "the most powerful turbocharged engine on the market," as Buick proudly stated in a statement for the press. The unit is fully compliant with the Euro V emission regulations.
