Audi has recently confirmed that the US will not receive the 2009 Audi RS6 due to fuel economy and emissions requirements in the US....lame!

Audi issued a new sales report on Tuesday that said its "stock of Audi R8 cars is sold out for months to come." Pretty disappointing for anyone that is hoping to grab one of these awesome cars.

VW Expects the US to be the Biggest Market for the 2009 VW CC

Volkswagen officially took the wraps off the Passat CC (four-door coupe) in Detroit earlier this year. VW expects approximately 60% of the sales of the CC ( VW dropped the "Passat" portion of the name) to come from the US.

Here are the photos of ZR Auto’s Supercar Crew (ZR Auto EDO Competition Enzo Ferrari, Red Enzo Ferrari, Maserati MC12, IMSA GTV Lamborghini Gallardo) all parked on Peel Street and then later parked at the Ferrari of Quebec dealership where Kimi Räikkönen and Felipe Massa spoke briefly before a small Ferrari owners only crowd!

Autobild has announced that the Audi R8 has won the highly sought after "SportsCar 2007" award. The R8 was decided as this year's winner by a panel of experts from the AutoBild SportsCars monthly magazine.

EDO Competition Modified Ferrari 599 GTB

EDO Competition previously massaged the Ferrari 599 GTB engine resulting in two engine upgrades, Stage 1 which gives the 599 GTB 650 hp with 660 Nm torque (up from factory 620 hp and 608 Nm torque) and Stage 2 630 GTB with 750 hp and 720 Nm torque!!

EDO just revealed a new aerodynamic package for their 599 GTB and 630 GTB in order to further tweak aerodynamics to the enabled higher top speeds and the non negotiable increased cooling demands caused by the power surge from the 630 GTB Scuderia package.

The new front apron boasts a larger cooling air inlet to improving the engines thermal response balance, the larger center inlet provides cool air for the brakes and the front spoiler increases the downforce on the front axle keeping your front end glued to the pavement. The side skirts reduce crosswind sensitivity and improve wheelwell ventilation. A new 6 blade diffuser enhances the rear axle downforce at higher speeds, while the carbon lip spoiler adds the finishing touches to downforce stability. All these new parts are made of carbon fiber and reduce the weight of the car by 50 kg.

Ferrari 430 Spider Bio Fuel Concept Revealed in Detroit

Ferrari are hardly a brand you would associate with producing environmental energy saving automobiles, but it seems by this concept one could see a new direction for the Italian super car manufacturer. The Ferrari 430 Spider Bio Fuel Concept made what most would call a quiet debut at the Detroit Motor Show with no special press conference called which leads us to assume it isn’t something they are heading into too seriously.

According to Automotive News preliminary data points in the positive direction with power output increased by 10hp to 500 hp with torque up 4% and fuel consumption down by 5%. But there is no need to get your cheque books out just yet, the production is said to be “not close”,whch is backed up by the fact E85 fuel is only widely in areas where Ferrari sales are negligible such as U.S. Midwest states, Brazil and Sweden. However a ferrari official has said that if E85 became widely available in California (where 10% of Ferrari’s worldwide sales are) then this Bio Fuel model would become a viable option.

2008 BMW 6 Series Gets Minor Restyling….simpler iDrive

Styling changes are subtle—so subtle that only those intimately familiar with the current model likely will notice differences in the car when it goes on sale in North America later this year. However, new driveline technology, including a brake energy regeneration system now in the 5 Series, improves the 6 Series’ already impressive performance.

Exterior changes:

Front bumper with a larger central cooling duct

Redesigned headlamps with LED indicators

Sharply chiseled side sills

Trunk lid that incorporates the high-mounted third brake light on coupe and convertible models

Jewel-like lenses for the tail lamps

Deeper rear bumper

Interior Changes:

New trim options

Simplified iDrive system with six preselect buttons, (recently introduced on other BMW models)

The 650i still retains the same 4.8-liter V8 engine with 360 hp and 360 lb-ft of torque mated to a six-speed manual gearbox or an optional six-speed Sports Automatic (at no extra charge).

In Europe, the 6 Series line includes a 630i 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder and a new 635d running a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel.
