Guangzhou-Honda Linian Prototype [Guangzhou International Auto Show]

The Linian is a cooperative project between the Guangzhou Automotive Group (GAG) and Honda, bringing together the visual aspects of a Honda S2000, new Nissan 370Zish headlights and just a touch of Saturn Astra in the rear. There are no details available regarding engine choices, drive layout or just about any information at all for that matter (probably because it will never be produced). The badge adorning that scowl of a front fascia is neither GAG, nor is it Honda, meaning this is most likely the logo of the newly established GAG-Honda design studio. Celebrating 50 years since its first release, a new model of the MINI is conceptualized and many are keeping their fingers crossed that it goes into production. The new version is the MINI Coupe. While the front end may look like the modern MINI, the rear sports a whole new look. Gone is the vertical rear windshield and rear seats. The result is more luggage space at the back and a more sporty look. Every engine available for the MINI is still accommodated in this version so driving fast is always an option for this tiny car.

A SUV-styled Mini with an added all-wheel drive plus lifted suspension makes the 2010 Crossman. What are we going to expect from this new crossover wagon? - A 4-cylinder drivetrain with Getrag 6-speed manual transmission, and a 2-inch elevated suspension. It also borrows some Clubman styling with its gaping secondary grille in the lower front fascia, raised roof rails to anchor an available luggage rack, and front-facing auxiliary “exploration lights”. With the standard Mini appearance, BMW is starting its expansion into a multi-model line as being started with the Crossman. Another thing that we will be expecting will be the Crossman to go on sale by early 2010.

The evolving Mazda Nagare “flow” design creates a dynamic and athletic exterior of the all-new Mazda Kazamai. The stylish and compact Japanese crossover represents powerful natural movements that are emotionally expressed through 3D patterns stretching over the whole body. The Kazamai features a bigger room than that of the Mazda3 with a SUV comfort and car inspired cabin. It sports a next-generation 2.0-liter direct-injection engine, large 22-inch wheels with each spoke carefully twisted and larger outside than in the center. A lightweight, next-generation, 6-speed automatic transmission delivers the direct feel of a manual transmission and 4-wheel drive for super traction.
