We tried taking the Hemmings Six Degrees of Automotive Separation Challenge a little bit outside the automotive realm once before with John Deere, and that seemed to work well, so let’s try it with another American icon – Harley-Davidson.
And like last week, I’m taking the spaghetti approach. To make it interesting, let’s choose a car maker few – if any – Harley owners would consider owning, let alone riding in. So it’d have to be a French car, how about Renault? Can you find a link between the two in six degrees or less?
The rules, as always, are simple: A connection consists of one company owning another, merging with another or sharing another’s parts. Explain your connections, and keep in mind that the point isn’t necessarily to do it in the least number of connections, but to do it with style and with obscure connections.
